Ronnie Kendrick, a senior at Liberty High, produced the Nevada state record by running 46.57 seconds to win the elite boys 400 meters at the 84th NIKE Chandler Rotary Invitational at Austin Field in Chandler, Ariz. Kendrick, who also achieved the meet all-time performance, eclipsed the Nevada-best effort of 46.60 held since 2006 by Del Guy of Western High.
