Ronnie Kendrick, a senior at Liberty High, lowered his own Nevada state record in the boys invitational 400 meters by clocking 46.46 seconds to triumph at the 56th Arcadia Invitational at Arcadia High in California. Kendrick improved on his 46.57 effort from March 23 at the Nike Chandler Rotary Invitational in Arizona, elevating to the No. 9 competitor in meet history.
